Magnicolor Vinyl Wraps + Custom Printing // Brand Identity

Joining the company during their infancy as the Design and Production Manager in 2016 I thought a brand refresh was needed. Being in the vehicle wrap business it is vital that you are able to walk the walk and successfully showcase your work through the various mediums being sold to customers. I did not feel that the identity created by the previous designer properly showcased our potential quality of work.

Starting off with the logo type, I kept the primary structure of the previous design but designed my own letterforms, creating a fast and sleek design witch is highly appealing to car clubs and enthusiasts - one of our primary target audiences. I then decided it was important to create a dynamic badge concept, that when established could brand the projects created in our shop and look appealing on hats and apparel. The "MC" abbreviation is adorned in a circular pattern with segments of cyan, magenta and yellow to represent the CMYK printing process in which we use - an aspect carried over from the previous design. 

Once we were set on this identity the mark was then used in very forms of print collateral and media to bring attention to our brand, commonly paired with bright contrasting and bold elements to showcase our print capabilities. Here are examples of our business cards, the current vehicle wrap on our shop truck, slap stickers we give out at shows, and a recent apparel release featuring a new badge lockup for the brand.
